The other guest was Rusty, staying for two nights while his human and the Woman were away on family business. He was not happy to be away from home. The first morning, he sneaked into the humans' bedroom, jumped on their bed (and the Man's chest) and made his view known. Then, before they left, he further stressed his annoyance by biting his human's hand, ripping her skin, drawing lots of blood. I begged to go with them but they insisted I stay to protect the Man. Now it was my turn not to be happy.
To make matters worse, while the women were away, the Man rented a horror movie called Smile. It's a film about a curse that transfers from person to person after they witness a suicide. The person starts to see people smiling in a scary, creepy manner and eventually they kill themself in front of someone, continuing the cycle. I could see trouble ahead because Rusty kept smiling.
Fortunately, by avoiding him, we all survived in one piece... thus far.
I got a holiday for being a good girl, spending a few nights with the Woman at the cabin. She wasn't stupid enough to watch any scary movies. We were both fine, except for the frog invasion but that was outside, and at night, so we just locked the door and ignored them.
I enjoyed chasing a deer at the Glennifer Braes (no photo as it happened so fast). The humans were a bit alarmed as I got further away, disappearing over the hill behind the trees. The deer did eventually outrun me by cheating and leaping over a fence but I kept up with it for a long distance.
Earlier that day, the humans took me to the Geilsland Estate, near Beith. They wanted breakfast but wanted to explore the Woodland Walk first. This was the tree they wouldn't let me sniff in the Coronation Garden.

Lastly, the Woman has been continuing her Lego binge. She's been assembling buildings and I've been saving her from hurting her feet by chewing up any Lego piece she dropped on the floor. Here is the result of her work.
