April 2025 - April Showers?

What great weather we've had this month! Lots of fun, sun and places to visit.

We started the month up at the cabin. We had lunch up at the dog-friendly Lodge Forest Visitor Centre. Poppy posed for a photo.

The walk tired us out.

The evening sky took a funny turn.

Cheeky!

Make no bones about it, this is good chewing.

Molly returned to stay with us while her adult was on holiday. The weather here was better than it was in Cyprus. We took her to the run-free site at Inchinnan. She didn't escape.

Honestly, we did run about too.

We also took her to Stewarton for a walk through the Lainshaw Woods. But first, we took some snaps at the War Memorial.

We also visited Balloch Country Park.

I tried yodelling

The day we had lunch at The Beachcomber Café Bar in Helensburgh, Poppy ate something extra under the Man's seat.

Then back to Aberfoyle and the Holiday Park for more fun times.

I'll go to any length to enjoy the sun.

Sun and fun at Irvine Beach (and ducklings)

The humans had never visited the Stanely Reservoir in Paisley before. They won't be back. Poppy was in heaven sampling the geese poo.

Can't she see that's a dead end?

When the temperature soared, they 'dug' out (geddit?) the paddling pool for us. I wasn't brave or silly enough to partake, but Poppy loved it.

The day we crossed the field up the Braes, the farmer was not happy with the Man. The farmer ran to interrogate him.

Farmer (out of breath): What were you doing just there?
Man: Crossing at the style.
Farmer: I thought you were cutting down my fence.
Man (looks down at his empty hands): With what?
Farmer (grumbles): Yeah, okay... sorry.

That farmer thought we were attacking his fence.
Do you fancy it?

Of course, the month hasn't been all sweetness and light.

I'm not a troublemaker.
I'm a mischief maker.

They said they wanted a new couch anyway.

She stood on my paw!

Fight!
Can we be friends now?
Phew!

February 2026 - Shorn Like a Sheep

I was beginning to look like a Wookie, so a haircut was long overdue. However, I wasn't expecting quite so dramatic a transformation. Po...
