The promised train trips across Scotland didn't materialise this month. The weather was against us, so we stayed local instead.

| New dog urinals have been planted at Barshaw Park. |
Our first excursion was a return trip to Plean Country Park.
The weather was dull, the ground was covered in leaves, and we had a great time running around. Poppy kept trying to eat the acorns. |

We had fun times at the holiday park, too.

| The woodland path had been strimmed. |
 |
| And a new seat had been installed. |

When the sun came out, we had fun running around the Nature Walk in Aberfoyle, except when forced to pose for the camera.
 |
"Are you sticking your tongue out?" "Yup." "Silly, he'll expect us to sit for another one." |

| "Keep your tongue in this time." |
Then we had a walk around Milton on the day when many groups of photographers were out snapping nature shots for their autumn portfolios. We didn't photograph the photographers, though.

Poppy wants to play. I'm too chill to react.

And, finally, rest.
