June 2022

As you can see, I've had a haircut. Gone are the massive beard and moustache, thanks to Michelle at the Pawz&Co Groom Room. I now look and feel like a girl puppy again.

My duo of owners rewarded me with a new bed, which I initially treated with suspicion. It didn't have any dog treats hidden under its cushion any of the times I removed it.

Where are the treats?

Molly, the paternal Grand Mum's pooch, always has lots of nibbles inside her bed. I should know. I confiscate them.

Eventually, I realised it wasn't a faulty food dispenser. I was supposed to lie in it. I still prefer the couch, though.

I've been thinking about my future. I've decided that when I grow up, I want to become a sock rescuer. I've been practising on the ones inside shoes, on the clothes' horse and even once from the washing machine. So far I've only managed single socks but I hope to progress to pairs.

I've also been doing my bit for the environment by ridding the world of plastic. So far I've chewed holes in three plastic bags: one holding the paternal Grand Mum's bed covers (they were due to go to the dry cleaners); another containing a pile of shredded paper in the Man's room (he wasn't amused as the paper spilt everywhere) and a third which held his friend's Magic cards. I knew better than to chew the cards. They were so old they would have given my stomach mana burn.

I made a new pal at Paw&Co too. The staff think we're in love but we're only playing up for the camera.

I've not been anywhere fancy this month but here are my best piccies.

The Woman (as seen above) has left her job as a teacher now. She's going to join me as a lady of leisure. I hope we go on lots of adventures after she's finished watching Wimbledon.
